Throughout my senior year of high school, I spent at least half of my day in the art room. I took multiple independent studies to advance my skill in digital art. Digital art was a brand-new concept for me, and I was determined to master it.
With a laptop with the capability of a drawing tablet, I took to Krita and began designing my own original characters (see above). While some of these pieces date back to 2021 and/or 2022, most are relatively recent and can show comprehension in how to utilize digital drawing software. The three characters above are named Galia (blue), while the other two await the perfect name.
I have developed a style that does play with light a lot, as we can see with various works within this collection have light sources from various angles.
I have fallen in love with the freedom digital drawing softwares give artists. The array of tools we can access for little cost opens the door to more opportunity.
