Hi! I'm Alishia Thompson. I am a student at the University of Connecticut studying Motion Capture and Animation in hopes of entering the entertainment industry to bring on the next generation of animated shows.
I take a lot of pride in my work, presenting only the best from each of my semesters of study. From photography to digital animation, I have skill in it all and strive to only improve upon what I already have.
When I'm not in the classroom, you can usually find me either working on a project somewhere throughout campus or attending a club meeting. I'm a member of various clubs, from the Animation Society to the Geoclub. Before leaving for college, I trained in martial arts intensively for 8 years, achieving my second-degree black belt before having to take academic leave. I do plan to return to give back to the community that raised me up in the times I needed it most.
If I'm not out and about on campus, I'm likely in my dorm hall chatting with my floor. As a member of the Innovation House, my creativity thrives as weird ideas are the key essence of this residential community.
